There's some kind of regret in me, for being really unable to write more about the movies I've watched. Basically, because the rate I am watching and experiencing the movies far exceeds the time I allow myself to write my blogs to record and recount my experience and the lessons learnt from each movie.
I have this ambitious idea, that I should try to write as much as I can to review, recommend and discuss the movies I've watched. More also, because if i don't, its pretty easy to forget them easily. And also, it provides me more purpose in watching movies in the first place.
(so if you know any other blogs out there discusses movies as well, please leave me a comment and tell me their URL)
There are definitely more movies that I have watched from the New Zealand Film Festival and the consecutive European Union Film Festival. So I guess, in order to just record certain minimum details down, just their titles perhaps, for references. In case, one day I do have the time to return to this blog now and rewrite more things regarding them.
NZFF - Sione's Wedding
EUFF - Simon -- I remember that this was a great movie, dealing with devation from the norm, accepctance and euthanasia. Very good story and acting there.
EUFF - A Friend of Mine - Germany
The Wind That Shakes the Barley - Just remember that the Irish accent takes getting used to.
Buddhist Film Festival - Travellers and Magicians
There!
