Ratatouille - Serving Up A Slice of Life

I've always loved Disney/Pixar's Animations, especially when its created by Brad Bird, the person responsible for Find Nemo, The Incredibles etc. He has an amazing eye for combining comedy and drama, yet appealing to not only kids but also the adult audience that turns up, demanding a great movie for entertainment. Recognise this face.

"Anybody Can Cook!" that was the promise of Head Chef Gusteau, in the movie. The principle behind this, is that, anybody can fulfil their dreams, only if they are willing to try. Taking that step of courage towards fulfilling your dream can be tough, but what lies ahead is self-satisfaction and pleasure in life that if you consider otherwise, you will never be able to achieve.

Being somewhat of a cook myself, it is comical to see rats, the taboo in the kitchen of every restaurant, the forbidden relationship that Remy, the lead-role rat, has for his flair in culinary skills, yet going all out to make sure that he will do what he loves in his own life. It really never fail to impress upon me that, you have a life, but its your dreams and ambitions that sustains you through it, and never stop dreaming about what you may become, or else you might never.

Living the dream that keeps you alive, so much so, that even simple pleasures in life and simple dishes from the kitchen (like ratatouille) will keep you happy for a long time.

Hmm, I'm hungry for a serving of life...
